UPDATE ON THE INCARCERATION OF MS. VICTOIRE INGABIRE UMUHOZA

TODAY IS HER 4th DAY IN JAIL.

Prosecution opened for Ms. Victoire INGABIRE: The much touted mountain of evidence is a montage.

Today, Ms. Victoire INGABIRE UMUHOZA, Chair of FDU-INKINGI was taken to RUSORORO Court house, only for Prosecutor's interrogation. She was then returned to her police cell after 18:00. She is supposed to be produced again tomorrow 10:00.

VISIBLE SIGNS OF ILL-TREATMENT:

The public has confirmed signs of ill-treatment: handcuffs, loss of weight, lack of sleep and same clothes since the arrest 4-days ago. It is clear she was not given any time to prepare herself before the parade. The clothes and a mattress were provided by her team on 14th October but the jailers decided to keep them away in order to humiliate her under a permanent pressure.

The prosecutor made sure to allow in a state TV camera crew in order to shoot segments for a subsequent devilishing campaign.

THE KEY WITNESS:

The so called key witness was paraded to the prosecutor's room as well where an amount of documents was produced in front of a “smiling key witness”. It will be proven how his show is just fake, based on a State machinery montage, cross-faded sequences of lies, manipulations and fabrications. It shows only how dangerous can be a situation in which a governmental apparatus is involved in identity forgery for political repression purposes.

The charges pressed are not new.

Why does the regime keep people in such awful and inhumane conditions?

Why do they need to humiliate political opponents at such a level if they really have any sounding evidence?
